Kite Flying Time!

Its about to rain now. I sat down with a cup of hot coffee and started blogging. Sound like I'm enjoying life, but I'm actually worried for my upcoming presentation on 4 Jun.

Anyway, I went kite flying yesterday. Here's a picture of Valent holding on to my goldfish kite posting for the shot while waiting for the wind to come.

2nd Class Upper Honours?

Don't be mistaken; I am not the one who got 2nd upper. Its Valent. He got 2nd class upper honours in Bachelor of Engineering (Electronic). He has been studying very hard over the past 2 years to achieve this honour. Hence, this calls for a celebration!

We went to Angus Steak House located at Ngee Ann City. The ambience and atmosphere was good, the place was dimly lighted and best of all, its quiet. The steak was great. I would recommend Rideye (200g) for the ladies. Oh, get a bottle of house wine too!

Will my wedding cost a BOMB?

文头雪 = Ice Jelly

Follow up from the eggcurb preiously, this time round I bought 文头雪. In case if you don't know what it means, its ice jelly. I added crushed ice, mixed fruits and lime to it. Though it taste good, but personally I still eggcurb. : )

Yesterday marked the last day of 没有陈俊宝的日子. He touched down at 9.30pm last night. Yeah!~ I am glad that he came home safely.

The weather was extremely hot for the past few days, can't do without aircon in the night too! Valent will be coming home in another 2 days.

陈俊宝不在的日子 - 第十七天

Its a tiring day at work today, looking at figures and doing analysis really caused lots of damage to the brain and eye! By now, I'm already brain-dead!

I finally made my second move to call up KX International Geomancy and enquire on their rate for select wedding dates. According to the lady who attended to me, the 'tong shu' for year of rabbit is not release yet. She advised me to call back in July. Hmm... it costs $98, is this price reasonable?

They even have a website to promote their service.

陈俊宝不在的日子 - 第十五天

I got a little worried this morning because Valent did not call me. It was much later that I realised he is not working today due to public holiday on Sat. Blur me, got worried for nothing.

Anyway, after work today, I rush back Woodlands Causeway Point for a simple dinner. My dad decided to hold an early celebration for Mother's Day. I bought my mum a wallet (not a surprise though, I got her to choose it herself at Metro). She really knows the good stuff because she eyed a Braun Buffel wallet and it costed $139.00.

陈俊宝不在的日子 - 第十四天

Valent called me in the morning and started telling me about his frightful night at a local pub last night. His colleague brought him to a local pub with lots of lady boys (ah gua). One of the ah gua actually asked Valent for a dance. As he was in a foreign country and he do not want to get into any trouble, he danced with the ah gua reluctantly. After the dance, the ah gua sat beside him for a drink. Quickly, he finished his drink with his colleague and headed back to hotel. Wahaha... I couldn't stop laughing at him...

Back in Singapore, it was a warm and humid day. How I wish it will rain in the afternoon. After having my dinner at my aunt's place, we went kite-flying at the open field near Woodlands Ave 12.

Thanks to the wind, we can easily fly the kite into the sky. My dad can even sat down and continue with the kite-flying.

I watched Ip Man 2 with my secondary classmates and we had dinner at Swensen's. I had a nice catchup with them...some I have not seen for 10 years. The hot topic flying around were:

1st Q: What are you working as and at which big firm?
2nd Q: When getting married?
3rd Q: Apply for which BTO excerise?

I wonder what would be the hot topic flying around in another 10 years time.
