CNY Day 1, 915 am: We were on our way to Malaysia, Kukup. 'We' refers to my whoooole big family (mother side), consists of about 35 of us. Well... some of you may ask... bf leh? Yes yes... he tagging along too.

Kukup is a nice place for celebrating Chinese New Year... because you can play with stuff which you can't play in Singapore. Hee... :P It was a eventful night with mahjong for the adults, blackjack for the kids (including me).

CNY Day 2, 6 am: I woke up early to find Valent breathing a bit funny. When he woke up, I told him about it. He explained that his wind-pipe is a bit tight, hence breathing a bit xin ku. The best part is.... he did not bring his in-healer with him!

I was so worried that he will have asthma attack there and then. There is no clinic = no DOCTORS!

Only when we reach Singapore Custom, my heart is at ease (because anything happens I can call 995). I drove him home immediately. After taking the in-healer, he is much better le.

2 weeks = 2 years ?

It's a terrible week for the past 1 and a half week. Valent is away in Australia for his studies and poor me have to stay in Singapore... waiting for his return.

He is currently pursuing a degree with University of South Australia and they require all students to complete a 2 week studies in Australia.

So leaving with no choice... I have to guai guai wait for his return. Though its just 2 weeks... but it feels like 2 years.

Counting down to 17th Jan 09, 5.40PM - Arrival date/time of his flight.

Finally, got the time to sit down and blog about my Hokkaido trip in Dec 2008. My apologies to those who have waited long long for my photos. Here are the photos and here goes my report on Hokkaido.

20 Dec: Hopped on A380 at 1145pm to Tokyo.

21 Dec: Reached the Tokyo airpot at 730 am and took a 1hr coach to another airpot to catch a domestic flight to Hokkaido. After landed at Hokkaido, we went for our lunch. Wo... the food is delicious! After lunch, we headed for our hot spring resort. Too bad cameras are not allow in the hot spring public bath, else I could have taken a few picture of the outdoor hot spring area. The hot spring is made up of stone, and its snowing while I enjoying my hot spring bath. So Shiok!

22 Dec: After breakfast, we set off to the zoo. Weather: temp -5.5degree, snowing heavily. Best thing to do: Eat ICE-CREAM!!! Yes... I love eating ice-cream at this timing... cos ice-cream will not melt.

23 Dec: We went to the bear range to feed the bears with apples. They are really good catcher. Very Zhun! Weather check: Snowing again. Dinner: we have a very tradition japanese dinner. Have to sit on the floor de.

24 Dec: We went for the snow mobile ride in the mountain. Its a 1 hr ride, cost: S$160 per person. Its pretty fun cos u get to ride the mobile yourself. Hee.. .can over-take others too. If you speed too fast, u may risk flying off the mobile. So exciting! Evening time, we headed town for shopping spree! I bought myself a blue label... hee...

25 Dec: Visited the White Lovers' factory. Dinner time, we headed out of hotel to tryout the famous ramen stall in town. Its fantastic... nothing like Singapore ramen. The noodle is so "Q" and the soup base is so much better. Talking about it now makes me hungry. Anyway, finishing our dinner, on our way back, it started snowing again.

26 Dec: Its snows heavily throughout the night. By morning, the thickness of the snow is up to my ankle. Soon after breakfast, we quickly set off for the airpot. Estimated travelling time is 1 hour. However, due to the heavy snow storm, we only managed to reach the airpot 4 hrs later to find out that all flight is cancelled due to the bad weather condition. Hence, we headed back to the city and stay for another night (FOC). By night fall, the thickness of the snow is up to my knee.

27 Dec: Set off at 430am to the airpot hoping that the plane would be able to takeoff at 730am (1st flight to Tokyo). Luckily, the weather condition change for the better and the plane managed to take off at 730 am. However, since we have missed our scheduled flight yesterday, SIA may not be able to accomodate all of us (32 person) on the next flight back to SG. We are told to be mentally prepared to return SG on different day/timing. Dunno is heng or suay, there is a A380 scheduled to fly back SG at 11am. We have to rush from the domestic airpot to the international airpot to catch the plane. We managed to reach the international airpot at 1105am. No check-in is required, we are told to grab our hand-carry bag and boarding pass and 'run' straight through the security counter.

27 Dec, 6pm: Arrived SG. Home Sweet Home!~ I wanna go Hokkaido again, must plan for a 2 days free & easy in Tokyo next time. Can shop shop shop!~ Bought a few bottles of volka in DFS too.
