Wedding Dinner or Not?

Sometime ago, Valent suggested not to hold wedding dinner as it is very troublesome. After much discussion, we decided to go ahead with it because its a once in a lifetime thingy! Plus I want all my close friends and family members to see the pretty me! Haha...

However, now I seriously consider not to hold the dinner. Few days ago, I asked my mum to estimate the number of table needed for our relatives and I specifically told her to invite only the necessary. I do not want the whole family of my 'great-aunt', 'great-uncle' to be invited, as I felt that inviting the 2 elderly is good enough. Its meaningless to invite the children and grandchildren.

My parents sought advice from my grandma today and my grandma insisted to invite the WHOLE family!

I really feel like saying "Forget it! I don't want to hold any dinner liao!". Its so frustrating! Why can't the elderly see the need to invite only the required!

Authentic Ramen at 一風唐

一風唐 was highly recomended by my uncle who used to be a chef at one of the Japanese restaurant. It is located at Mandarin Gallery, level 4. Yesterday, Valent and myself went to Cineleisure for a movie. After the movie, we decided to try it out.

When I reached, I went "WOW"! This place must be good because the queue is damn long! I have about 25 pax in front of me. Nevertheless, we decided to queue. Take a look at our orders:

Tonkotsu Croquette: Pork broth croquette ($12)

Shiromaru Classic: Original recipe tonkotsu soup served with thin noodles, Rosu chashu, cabbage , kikurage & scallions ($15)

Ippudo KaraKamen: Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen served with minced pork and spicy paste ($17)

Afternote: Valent ordered extra serving of noodles!
